Wow, I’m overwhelmed by the positive press coverage and glowing reviews of my new single ”My Love (is the way it’s supposed to be)” featuring New York drag legend Lady Bunny and queer voices from Uganda, where it’s still illegal to be LGBT. 
This isn’t just music — it’s advocacy in the face of growing threats to LGBT rights. It therefore means a lot that world-leading LGBT media and organizations like Yahoo, GLAAD, and Attitude have championed the song and celebrated the cause. 
I’ve been running my non profit organisation Rainbow Riots in Uganda for 10 years fighting for LGBT rights in a very hostile environment, and it’s difficult to keep this issue in the news. But through music, we can make the world listen! 
Let’s keep pushing for change because love is the way it’s supposed to be!
